Tuesday

1. Something I learned today was the learning progression process. I am interested in working through this process to learn how to use this tool for my students. Mary Jane, have you ever considered using this as a handout for students, incorporating the Marzano graph in the student feedback section....? The slope intercept application was great. Helping students see lines in a different way.

2. What do you still have questions about or would still like to learn?
Robin/Mary Jane could you give me some tips on setting up math journals. I have three classes I'm teaching this year and want to implement them - I like the blogging and have computer access, but also think they need to have pencil/paper for vocab and graphing/examples... thoughts?

3. What applications are there to classroom practice?
I think the learning progession has huge application for classroom practice. The questions about the graphs in Fathom are also beneficial. I would have to work through this some more and determine where my students are to be able to implement in my classroom. I think these graphs are more real-life and would interest my older non-traditional students. I'm willing to give it a try :)
