Blog 1: Ideas for Professional Development Sessions during the school year
For PD over the course of the year, I would prefer weekends. I have 7 weekends already committed to the University of Washington - Puget Sound Writing Project and can give dates if need be.
Practical, hands-on math activities - help make connections between math and the real world - answering the unending question, "When am I ever going to need this?"
More training around the power standards. Additional time to explore/understand the technology tools available.
